How it works

Turn on Local Files

In Spotify's desktop app: profile picture → Settings → Local Files → toggle it on.

Point it at a folder

Same settings section → Add a source. Or just use the default:

macOS: ~/Music Windows: C:\Users\you\Music

4️⃣

Drop it in & play

Move your MP3 into that folder — Spotify picks it up under Your Library → Local Files. Add it to any playlist like a normal track.
